Seni pada tepi buku adalah teknik lukisan di tepi halaman buku. Karya seni hanya dapat dilihat ketika halaman ditekuk, Ketika buku ditutup, Agan tidak melihat gambar karena tersembunyi.

Menurut Encyclopedia Britannica, lukisan tepi pertama muncul selama Abad Pertengahan di Eropa tetapi menjadi terkenal selama abad ke-17 sampai akhir abad ke-19
